Dr. Giorgio Ilacqua is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He is practicing in Counselling, Rehabilitation and Forensic/Correctional Psychology. He completed his doctoral degree with a dissertation on chronic pain (headaches). In his clinic he is providing direct and supervised services to people involved in motor vehicle, bicycles and pedestrian accidents, injured workers, first responders, as well as people with major mental health challenges, substance use and traumatic experiences. He is working with people in chronic pain and surviving catastrophic accidents. In his Forensic practice he is assessing the psychological needs and future risk of people in trouble with the justice system , historical charges, sex offences, and mental health needs. He is providing direct and supervising consulting services and developing psychological policies to not-for-profit organizations, Workers Compensation and Insurance Board, (WSIB), Ontario Revies Board (ORB), Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), hospitals and rehabilitation companies. He is providing expert opinions to the Courts and child protecting agencies. He is supervising future psychologists and psychotherapists. He holds a Transactional Analysis (TA) Practitioner Certificate, he is a certified for using the Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment (ODARA) as well as conducting Catastrophic assessments.
Shreeram Bhimsariya Clinic Manager
Shreeram was born and raised in Gujarat, India and has been in Canada since 2017. He has completed a Bachelor of Medicine from Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy, Russia and an MBA in Health Care and Hospital Management from the University of Wales, UK. He has over 5 years of experience working as a Hospital Manager, Quality Manager and Medical Director at the Multi Speciality Hospitals in Surat, Gujarat. Shreeram joined our Clinic in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. He has dedicated himself to create a positive environment for all clients, staff, community agencies, third parties, insurances and other professionals that are transacting with the Clinic. He operates efficiently and professionally while offering a sense of trust and ensuring satisfaction. He delivers high quality services while ensuring the best day-to-day patient care. His positive energy is essential in creating and maintaining new procedures, protocols and policies, to liaise with the outside agencies and to deliver the highest professional services. He is proactive and wise in ensuring that the highest ethical, professional and legal standards are maintained and surpassed. His business background allows the Clinic to run efficiently ensuring that all administrative aspects such as accounts, staff management, payroll, administration and technology are updated and current. With over 10 years of experience in a Manager role, he has the knowledge to help our clients to feel at home, while achieving the goals of the clinic. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
